premise and rules. [03 Dec 2009|11:37am] Welcome to theweddingparty, we are so glad that you've taken an interest in this game ! We aren't going to make this anymore complicated than it needs to be, theweddingparty's premise is simple, it is a game set around a recently engaged couple named Jessica Carter and Nathan Charmichael. Due to that fact you must have some sort of connection to the bride and groom, whether your character is family, in the bridal party, an ex, or even the florist it doesn't matter as long as they are connected. They can also be connected through the bridal party, friend, or family of the bride and groom. The bride and groom are currently planning their wedding from their homes in NYC, but are headed to Denver, CO for a winter wedding on January 17, 2010. The goal of this community is to provide you an active, welcoming, and long lasting home. We are not going to give you the same speech you always hear over and over, that we aren't going to die. We are just going to say that we believe that this game has the potential to really thrive and as long as you are active and having fun then we will also be around and active as your mods. We will be throwing up group threads and other fun interactive things to promote community activity. We are going to try and keep this community smaller, with numbers not exceeding 100 in hopes of keeping everyone excited to play and prevent anyone from getting lost in the shuffle. The rules as usual are quite simple and something that by now we hope everyone has a firm grasp on them, but for good measure. Do not cross IC with OOC, if we hear about it, we will come to you and you will be given one warning, if it happens again you will be removed. Serious storylines must be approved by the mods, because we'd like to keep things from getting to out of control, IE: we would like to prevent a baby boom. Your PB must be age appropriate and there is a two character limit. If you choose to have two characters at least one must be a male. To apply you must have a a scene request post up and a bio is expected 10 days later or you will be removed! Your aim sn should have your character's name incorporated in some form or another. Tommy loves gum is appropriate, Tommyx53 is not. Your journal must have your character's name and may not have any added words, numbers, or underscores.
